Open calculator →Why our calculators work differently
Most loan calculators ask you to type in an interest rate and then show a neat repayment. That is fine for a home loan, but business finance is quoted in too many ways for a single rate to tell the whole story. Establishment fees deducted from the loan, factor pricing, daily repayments and payout terms all change what you really pay.
So our tools start from the figures a lender has to give you in writing: the amount, the fees, the total you repay and the term. From those, they work out the numbers that matter for a business decision, such as cost per dollar received, cost per month and whether your profit comfortably covers the repayments. When you are ready to talk to a person, make one enquiry; there is no credit check when you first enquire.
Calculator questions
Why don't your calculators ask for an interest rate?
Business loans are quoted in many different ways, and a rate on its own can hide fees and structure. Our calculators work from the dollar figures in your actual offer, such as the amount, fees and total repayable, which gives a fairer comparison.
Are the calculators free?
Yes. They run in your browser, do not need a sign-up and do not store or send anything you type.
Which calculator should I start with?
If you have quotes, start with the offer comparison calculator. If you are still planning, start with the cash flow gap calculator to size what you need, then the repayment coverage calculator to check what you can afford.
Are the results a quote or approval?
No. They are a guide based on your own numbers. A lender's assessment will look at your full circumstances.
Your next step
Get matched with the right kind of finance
Answer a handful of questions about your business. Enquiring is free and does not trigger a credit check, your information goes to one lending partner rather than a crowd, and accurate answers mean you hear about realistic options first time.
- No credit check to enquire. Asking a question about your options leaves no mark on your credit file. A credit check only happens later, if you decide to apply.
- One enquiry, not a lead auction. Your details are not sprayed across a list of lenders. One lending partner looks at your situation properly.
- A real person reads it. A person who works with business finance every day reviews your enquiry and calls you. Accurate answers help them get it right first time.
